Nick Laudano, Founder, Acente Solutions

Nick is the founder of Acente Solutions and an expert in HR Business Processes and Human Resource Management Systems. Nick began his career as a Senior Technical Recruiter for Paragon Computer Professionals, which gave him a solid foundation in both IT and technical recruiting fields. Using his experience placing individuals in technology environments as a springboard, he began helping clients source new Human Resource consulting projects and developed an expertise in managing outsourcing projects. From there, Nick honed his skills in several start up ventures focused on Employee Life Cycle Management at the enterprise level. He designed Human Resource Management solutions that managed employee data from inception to retirement, for organizations with over 10,000 employees.

Nick launched Acente Solutions in 2002. Ever since, Nick has been focused on helping small and mid-sized firms automate and optimize the management of their valuable human capital. At Acente Solutions, Nick dedicates himself to finding unique customized solutions for each client. Along with his long-time partners, he works as a trusted advisor to streamline and optimize their current business processes while implementing best-in-breed HRMS software to complete the solution.

Nick has an International Business and Marketing Bachelors degree from the George Washington University and lives in Chester, NJ with his wife and two children.

Allison Allen, Director, Design and Implementation

Allison Allen has worked as a professional service consultant for over 13 years. A graduate of University of NC-Chapel Hill, Allison holds a BA in Personnel Relations/Psychology. She brings her knowledge of Group Health, Flex, and COBRA and over 4 years as Training/Professional Services Manager for Best Software (now Sage Software) to Acente Solutions. She now manages all aspects of employee, business partner, and end user training, certification, and professional services pertaining to the Sage Abra product.

Nick Panayi, VP Marketing Acente Solutions & Founder, emorfie

Nick is responsible for Marketing at Acente Solutions and is also Founder of emorfie, a marketing consultancy for emerging companies.  He is a Marketing and Strategic Planning executive with almost two decades of experience and a diverse background in technology-related industries. Nick’s last corporate role was Vice President, North America Marketing for Avaya, a $5B global market leader in business communications solutions. His business travels brought Nick from his beginnings as a product manager for a pioneering online services startup in the early 90s, to Compaq Computers for 8 years in a variety of Marketing, Strategic Planning and Corporate Development roles, and then to Avaya where he spent 8 years in executive-level Strategic Planning and Marketing positions.

Nick led multiple strategic planning initiatives in marketing, business planning and services functions, managed a $300M P&L, launched multiple new products and managed successful product life cycles for PC-based professional workstations, and eCommerce solutions. Nick also has experience building and supporting winning partnerships, from a high visibility eCommerce alliance between Microsoft and Compaq to innovative alliances between early-generation Internet pioneers looking for ways to monetize nascent online services.   He is also an experienced and effective public speaker with multiple mentions in technology media outlets. 

Along with having responsibility for Marketing at Acente Solutions, Nick is Founder of emorfie, a marketing consulting firm.  At emorfie, Nick works closely with emerging companies like Acente Solutions to advise and guide their strategic marketing efforts.  

Nick has a Bachelors degree in Marketing and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is married with two children and lives in Princeton, NJ.
