Imagine that you are in line at the grocery store, ready to checkout. You have made the appropriate measures of placing your items on the belt to check out.
However, you notice that the checkout clerk is not paying attention to you, but talking on a cell phone. You try and make eye contact to get their attention because you’re in a hurry.
Much to your dismay, they turn their back to you and continue talking and completely ignore you.
If you were to make a return visit to the store, would you not go to a different check stand the next time you come into the store? Of course you would!
